Only 1” shorter makes no sense to me. Amy was wearing the regular tsv not the petite, and she said she could wear either - the petite was only an inch shorter. I thought the proportion on her of the tunic with the crop pants was all wrong.

I need petite pants with an inseam of 28 or 29.

The longest I will get is 25". Anything more is too long. I rarely wear heels and if I do, 25" with heels works just fine.

Depends on the style.  Straight leg pants 25" or 26", boot cut or wide leg 28".  I'm 5'1".

We are the same size.

Anyway, even the B&M stores are goofy with sizing.    I carry a tape measure on my key ring, and measure EVERYTHING.   It seems 4 & 6 measure the EXACT SAME now...which are a little big on me.    I couldn't get a 2 over my shoulder or hip bones.

I remember back in the 90's when the garment union had "universal sizing"...     I guess unions are gone now.     di

And shoes aren't any better!

There was a time when every pair of shoes I owned were size 7 1/2.  Now, the well-fitting shoes I have in my closet range from sizes 6 1/2 to 9!

How is that even possible?

@Tinkrbl44 Thank you for saying this about shoes!!! I thought it was just me! Buying shoes can be so frustrating because of this and it doesn't matter what kind, dress shoes to casual to sneakers it's like that.

I am 5'2" and a 28" inseam is way to short for me, I prefer a 29".

For a pant inseam, 1 inch doesn't seem right.  I think the sleeve length variance can be more like this?  I often give up and get a regular top in an elbow length sleeve when I just can't cope anymore.

I'm just pushing 5'1".  All my height is in my torso; I have very short legs and arms.  I need an inseam of 25/26".  If crops are offered in tall I'll buy them because that makes them the perfect full length pants on me.

A garment that is 1 inch shorter and labeled as petite is ridiculous to me.  There have been a few Denim & Co. and Belle tops that were offered in petite, but there was only a 2 inch difference.  Not short enough for me. Most of the tops on QVC start at 25 1/2 or 26 inches which is too long for me. Amy doesn't look good sometimes when wearing regular length tops.

As for pants, my new perfect inseam is 28 inches and I'm 5' 2 1/2".  It used to be 29 inches, but that when I was 5'4" inches.  Obviously I have shrunk in my old age and now have to wear wedges or heels for any full length pants over 28 inches.

My best and favorite inseam is 27 but can do a 26 or 28, all assuming the rise is correct.
