According to QVC vendors most garments are only addressed

in the length.

I am 5'1" plus 1/2" . I have messaged QVC many times about the newest sizing, petites are now for 5'3 to 5'5". I find it frustrating to shop for tshirts by any vendor.  27" is just too long. Yesterday Amy did a center tuck with a sweater that she really was too short to wear. It looked terrible. I don't know if it was labeled petite or misses. I look through the items offered but rarely buy clothes at QVC. There are several stores that still carry clothes for petites no matter what their weight and that's where I shop. I am 116 pounds, not heavy nor slim. My petite size is a small or a medium, pants are a 4 or 6.
I miss the days when I could shop at QVC.

I would prefer it if ladies' pants used measurements like menswear:    waist size, then length.

(A very few do it that way)

That would not work for me.  I have a small waist and wider hips and plenty of junk in my trunk. If I bought pants by my waist size, they wouldn't fit elsewhere.

Women are not built like men.  Some are straight up and down with a flat bottom and some are curvy. We have different shapes.  It is very frustrating to find pants that fit.

Question for anyone who knows ...

Do you know of any retailers (petite or regular lines) that have banded bottom blouses or shirts?  (I've already tried Amazon; not so fabulous.)

i'm 5'2' and very short waisted.  Any top longer than 24 inches on me looks ridculous.

Years ago I had some banded bottom (nicely adjustable) hems and I wore them until they practically fell apart.

Has anyone seen any lately?

We are the same size.

Anyway, even the B&M stores are goofy with sizing.    I carry a tape measure on my key ring, and measure EVERYTHING.   It seems 4 & 6 measure the EXACT SAME now...which are a little big on me.    I couldn't get a 2 over my shoulder or hip bones.

I remember back in the 90's when the garment union had "universal sizing"...     I guess unions are gone now.     di

And shoes aren't any better!

There was a time when every pair of shoes I owned were size 7 1/2.  Now, the well-fitting shoes I have in my closet range from sizes 6 1/2 to 9!

How is that even possible?

Oh, it's all over the place now.    I recently bought a shower rod that didn't fit my tub.    Ummm, tubs are a standard size...6 feet.

I've got a small car...and at some places the parking places are so narrow, it won't fit in.    Thank heaven I also have a handicapped tag...     di
