First, thanks to 57babe for your recommendation of the Pioneer Pet Rain Drop Fountain.
I found one on Amazon - got the Black Ceramic, it's really nice - very sturdy. It also was soooo easy to put together! I hope my cats take to it. They usually drink out of stainless, but the price for the ceramic fountain was better (Just over $36), and because it's heavy I don't think they'll move it easily.
Aja stuck his nose in it and sniffed - not the best idea, made him sneeze, lol. Josie sits and stares at it, and Robbie walks by and looks at it. I still have other bowls thru-out the house, we'll see how this goes. (Aja likes water out of the faucet, so he may take to it first). If nothing else, it sounds very theraputic, the rushing, dripping of water, lol.
My question, is, I'm used to putting fresh water in a bowl daily. Do I empty this out daily and refill, or just add to it on a daily basis, and completely change every couple of days? It also says I can adjust the "flow" of the water, I'm wondering if a slower trickling will be more enticing. Also, anyone with suggestions on getting their cats to use a fountain?
(I'm going to post a Robbie update on the other thread).
