A friend found a dog and I agreed to take it and try to find him a home. He is a white/blonde lab. Very, very good looking dog. He is about one year old and has not been neutered. HE IS WILD. He's sweet and is loving life but he never walks and only runs. I have about broke him of jumping on me. I'm calling him Max. Max is wild, wild, wild. I am afraid he is going to hurt my small indoor dog. I know he is just playing with him. If he continues to stay at my house, I will immediately have him "fixed". I have him in the backyard in a fence. I live on a lot of land and he has many acres to run and play on but he goes straight to the highway.
After having him neutered, what else can I do to calm him down? How do you train a dog to stay at home? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
