No, they had ordinary names, LOL. Millie came to us as Millwood Millie of San Souci and the breeder had been calling the marble kitten "Rocko" and it stuck. (Actually, Rocko was his MIDDLE name; his first name was Darnitall!).

kcladyz - the bird in the first picture is absolutely stunning! Is it a certain breed? I've never seen the white/gray/soft blue combination...

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of everyone's "kids".

She is a parakeet. The color pattern is a Recessive Pied. Her name is snowflake. She is real small. Her body is maybe 4 inches long

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

All is quiet at the zoo (school) today! Fingers crossed. I am actually surprised with the wind we are having again.

I am hopeful that I might just get peaches this year as my tree went through the bloom cycle without them being frozen and/or battered to pieces by the wind... I also had lots of bees buzzing... More fingers crossed.

This video is priceless... I had to share with several of my fellow staff... Knowing that they would appreciate it. It was all the more funny because it was a group of boys - although most looked older than 5th graders. I would have thought 7th graders...

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Hard to believe that it is alreadythe end of the week. I last posted on Monday and the time just flew...

Hope you are all well. I do have to share a funny. My Lewi, forgot himself this morning and actually let me pet him for a few minutes - the all of a sudden it was like he remember that he is not suppose to let himself be pet and scurried off about three feet... The look on his little face was priceless. Maybe it is a good sign that he let me pet him outside of his heated box.

Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the night! Nose kisses to all the fur kids...
