I'm so irked at how selfish people can be.

I was at Target, 1 lane open, 1 woman in front of me checking out with a large cart load. She's almost done being rung up when she realized she forgot 1 item. A guy she's with heads off to get that item.

The checkout person just stands there waiting while the line is building up.

I had to speak up and tell her to suspend the sale and send them to customer service to complete the transaction. I don't work there but I know more than the person that does.

How rude! You forgot something, well too bad. Pay your bill, gather yourself and go pick up that item and then pay for it. Don't make everyone else behind you wait!
