We sleep in separate bedrooms because of snoring. DH has a CPAP machine now but we are so used sleeping alone and not dealing with other things that comes along with sharing a bed.  We both sleep better but I know it's not for everyone . We also each have a 10 inch Google Nest screen on our nightstands. We can check on each other without disturbing one another or talk face to face via the Google Nest devices, of course we each have our cell phones.

If the person says they dont snore you could easily record them at night and have them listen to it the next day !
