What an old creep. I would feel creepy looking into someone's window let alone photographing them. Glad they caught him. Does he or did he have a wife and children?

Your home should be your private safe place. Please pursue these charges filed against him. No one, at any age is excused of this violation.
When there is smoke there's fire. I bet this man has more of a "history" than people think.

@MoJoV He lived alone, so I would guess he doesn’t have a wife. I don’t know if he has kids. His house, by the way, was built in the 1870’s. It’s massive and is a historic home with a plaque on the sidewalk out front. It looks just like the Addams Family house from the old tv series. Super creepy.

@TenderMercieswrote:I just had a knock on my front door. It was the police. Apparently my next door neighbor, a 95 year old, male shut in who used to be a professional photographer was taking photographs of me in my home for years. He was posting the photos on a website dedicated to and run by people who are into voyeurism. I haven't seen any of the photos, because the website was shut down. Someone reported it to the police, they traced his URL, and he's been arrested. I can't say I feel violated, because the only windows that face his are my kitchen windows, and I'm not one to walk around undressed. The best he could have gotten would be me working on my computer at my bar or cooking and eating. How's that for a bizarre Saturday afternoon!
They ought to at least let you poke him with a stick a few times. Did the police ask you to press charges? Will you have to go to court? I hope they never let him live next door to you again. Bless your heart...

It would be interesting to know if he made any money doing that.
I imagine that things go on like that more than people think.

My goodness. And some laugh at me because I have insulated drapes on all my windows, including the slider, and I close them when it gets dark. Well, not all of them when it's nice out, and I can open the windows, but they are definitely closed when I go to bed. And no walking around in a robe or PJs.

When I was growing up we heard there was a peeping Tom in our neighbor. It wasn’t until I actually saw him peeping into my friends house that it really disturbed me. To this day I always make sure the blinds are closed at night wherever I am.

I just spoke to my neighbor whose front lawn separates my home from the peeper. She is actually a retired sheriff from another city in the state, so she has connections to the police department. She is making some calls to see if she could figure out what’s going on.
