Pedic Solutions, Sleep Number or Traditional Mattresses

Which do you prefer and why? We're about to purchase our 3rd mattress in about 7 years. First was traditional spring type and the present one is foam. You would not believe how uncomfortable they both were. Both of us are tossing and turning all night and do not get restful sleep. This is no exaggeration. And forget about returning mattresses after purchasing. Wasted almost $4,000 to $5000 on both. So I'm just wondering if any of you have a product/brand you could or would recommend. Also, would you purchase from Q? If it needed to be returned, how would this be done?
