I just got an e-mail from paypal stating that their free returns will be ending November 27th.

I figured it was just a matter of time. I didn't know how PayPal could sustain free shipping when rates have gone up. It was nice while it lasted but I can understand their decision.

I don't understand.  I thought Paypal was just a way to pay for things.

Yes, I got an email from PayPal today about that. So disappointing!

On the flip side PayPal Cashback Mastercard went up from 2% to 3% cashback for all purchases everywhere.

@SilleeMee  - Really 3% for all purchases made?  That's wonderful.  Maybe I should get their card.   My current card doesn't pay that much!   Thanks for the info.

Yes and you don't have to wait to get your cashback money. As soon as your card earns cashback then it's available to you almost immediately...no waiting until the end of the month. All you have to do is transfer it to wherever you need it like your bank or even to your PayPal account funds.
