There's a discussion going on about fur coats and using animals for our human purposes.

While reading it I couldn't help thinking about a segment I saw on CNN last night where there was a serious discussion about putting antibiotics in animal feed and how it has impacted our ability to cure infectious diseases, because the bacteria has evolved and developed to the point that it can fight off the life savings meds we have been using for decades.

This woman is a politician and has been trying for seven years to get C*ongress to pass a bill to stop both meat (and produce) farmers from using antibiotics to enhance food. She said that if this practice is not stopped now, in less than ten years, antibiotics will be worthless as a cure for many common infections, illnesses, injuries, during and after surgeries . . . in short, whatever happens to us, if it killed us in the past, it will kill us again. As usual C*ongress doesn't give a you know what. This topic can probably be found on CNN's website.

Other than that horrifying thought, it certainly begs the cliche that paybacks certainly are a *****. Animals may have the last laugh after all.
