I hope your aunt appreciates that pie, @MyGirlsMom, and the love that went into getting it for her😍

So a diabetic reformed is selling pie that has 29 grams of sugar per 1/5 pie? Fascinating.

I don't believe the people who will be eating these desserts will be indulging every day! Relax it's the holiday season.

Obviously we haven't been to a Walmart lately.

Anyone thinking a cheap Walmart pie is considered to part of their special holiday meal...is probably eating much, much worst the other 364 days of the year.

Probably your pretentious food snobbery should take a break

for the holidays.

Re: Patti Labelle's Pies

[ Edited ]

Had patti's sweet potato pie hubby and I did not like it but at Walmart they were giving out samples of her apple cobbler and hubby said it was not bad.

Always wondered if that YouTuber, James Wright,

ever got a $$ cut of sale of those pies.  His video went viral last year

around this time and locked down the popularity of this dessert.

This video has over 5,000,000 views....which I'm s.u.r.e.

had a HUGE bearing on the success of this pie.

I have an Aunt who maybe goes to Walmart once every five years and mentioned to me that she's seen the commercials for Patti Labelle's pies but never had one.

I'm going to see her Friday and my husband bought the one and only pie on the shelf last night.  He mentioned that he had to keep it in his hands because there were other customers "circling" and wanted to know where he got it.

Walmart can't keep them on the shelves!  LOL

@MyGirlsMom LOL! If he put it in the cart and turned his back it would be gone!Smiley Very Happy

I love this guy! He makes me laugh so hard, what did you seal this #$% with Patti, gorilla glue? So funny and a great voice. When I saw this a while back I knew she would do something nice for him!
