I have an Aunt who maybe goes to Walmart once every five years and mentioned to me that she's seen the commercials for Patti Labelle's pies but never had one.

I'm going to see her Friday and my husband bought the one and only pie on the shelf last night.  He mentioned that he had to keep it in his hands because there were other customers "circling" and wanted to know where he got it.

Walmart can't keep them on the shelves!  LOL

Hi @MyGirlsMom  Smiley Happy

I've seen the commercial and thought I'd like to get one of those!  I imagine the trick is to get to the store early.

DH and I always get pie instead of cakes for holidays, he even requests pie for his birthday.  We'll have two for Thanksgiving, pecan pie from a really good baker who is a friend of my daughter, and sweet potato pie from Trader Joe's.

I'm not a fan of sweet potato pie but my family is and I know we couldn't make one at the price she is selling them for.

For a little over $3.00, the pie is delicious.

My sister emailed me this morning that she's doing a Walmart trip and she's bringing one for Thanksgiving.  Sweet potato....

My daughter's dormmates used to get Walmart's cream horns when they went shopping.  They're good, too.

I just saw one of those pies this morning and I wondered how they were. I myself am getting ready to make a pumpkin pie. I' really looking forward to having a piece with whipped cream. Yum!

Since I already purchased a pumpkin pie at Costco, guess I'll have to make do.  Hope all that want to enjoy this pie are able to get one.

Costco's pumpkin pies are famous, I'd forgotten about them.  They're delicious and will feed a crowd.
