Every time we have a Friday the 13th, I hopefully buy a lottery ticket thinking it might be a lucky day for me. So far it hasn't worked, but I'll still stop by the convenience store today & buy a ticket.

I love the number 13. It's my birthday (not today). Two birthdays, the 16th and the 21st are considered landmarks and both of mine happened to fall on Fridays, so FrIday the thirteenth is a good day in my book.

I've never been in a building with a 13th floor. I thought it was routinely skipped.

Me too! My birthday is on the 12th (of another month) and I always wished it was the 13th, just because I love the number so much.

I used to hate Friday the 13th. Because when I was 19 some drunk hit my car in the rain on a Friday the 13th while I was waiting at a stop light.

When I got out to exchange info, he hit my car again and took off.

My car was demolished and I went into shock at the time.

For years I would not drive "if it was raining" on a Friday the 13th.

Since Im older Ive gotten over it.

And my son was born on the 13th and one year before his birthday "when he was in grade school" his so called (choke) school friends scared him and told him Fred Krueger (from the scary movie) was going to get him. He hid under his bed all morning the day of his birthday until he finally came out.

After that year it never phased him again about any Friday the 13ths.

I was born on the 13th (not a Friday, tho) and have been the happy guardian of two black cats (so far); what superstition? ;-)

That's cool that it will be on a Friday this year. 8-)
