Paperclip bracelet helper

[ Edited ]

I have trouble clasping some of my bracelets. I almost purchased one of those bracelet buddies but this is much cheaper and it works. Seems so obvious I'm embarrassed I never though of it.

Use a large paperclip (small paperclips are too short). Bend it. Hook one end through the loop of the bracelet. Hope this helps anyone who couldn't fasten her bracelets : )

Re: Paperclip bracelet helper

I've had a Bracelet Buddy for years.  I would have never thought of a paperclip.  That's a very clever idea!

Reminds me of Jacqueline Kennedy's paperclip bracelet.

Re: Paperclip bracelet helper

Another handy way to put on a bracelet with just a piece of scotch tape:

I simply put the ring end of the bracelet on the inside of my wrist, securing it with a piece of tape near the o ring, which holds it in place while I attach the clasp.

You can also do the same thing, taping it to the outside of your wrist if you prefer, but removing the piece of tape pulls my hair, so I prefer taping it to the inside, LOL!

I have a bracelet buddy and the tape works better for me!

@Say Nay

Brilliant idea!

I purchased a bracelet buddy but it did not work affectively for a very fine

guage cord bracelet.  The end slipped right through the jaw of the bracelet buddy.

The paper clip tool should work.  I'm going to try it!

Thank you and thanks for posting the photo too.
