I posted in "Among Friends" on ideas for searching for the child I put up for adoption long ago.

Poster "Marp" kindly suggest paging you for possible ideas in going about the search.

You might try doing a shout out on Viewpoints for SusieElizabeth (formerly justawifeandmom). I don't know the process she followed but she found her (now deceased) birth mother and may be able to give you some suggestions.

If you feel comfortable telling me how you went about searching for your birth mother, perhaps it would help me.

I'm registering with the International Soundex Registry and contacted the Catholic organization that facilitated the adoption (awaiting a call back from them)....but any ideas you have would be welcome.

If you chose not to share, I fully understand.
