I was just posting a reply to your post when the thread was deleted, but it's too good not to share.

I was watching BBC a couple days ago, and they were interviewing senators about repealing that particular military policy... you know the one I am referring to? Well, I was feeding my DD and chatting with her as I listened to the news. The one senator who was against the repeal was trying (rather unsuccessfully, I thought) to prove his point. He was yammering on, and I said to my DD, "Just you wait, P, in another 30 seconds, he's going to say, "I'm not h o m o phobic. Some of my best friends are g ay."

Sure enough, the words were barely out of my mouth before he said exactly that! Tsk. Tsk. Bigotry is sooo predictable.

Schmuck. (Is that the correct spelling? i think I've only ever said it before, not typed it.)
