This happened to me 2 years ago.I got a text when I was out shopping that my package had just been delivered & left at my front door. When I arrived home an hour later there was no package!! I called HSN & advised them what had happened. They promptly shipped me out a replacement & said they would do the follow up with UPS!!

As far as I'm concerned it's the senders responsibility to make sure you get your delivery!! You shouldn't have to track it down!!

I'm sorry this happened to you but am glad QVC is replacing the boots.  Honestly, I would just let it go so you don't cause yourself any unnecessary aggravation.  Keep an eye on the tracking for the replacement pair and be sure to grab the box once delivered.  You never know....

Just last night I had a package delivered by UPS.  I knew it was coming so I kept checking for it.  It was delivered much later than usual, which is okay, but I do wish they would ring the bell or knock on the door.  I realize they have no way of knowing how expensive an item may or may not be, but this particular item was a $368.00  Dooney which I ordered from QVC.  (Actually, it was over $400.00 with tax and shipping).  I would have been sick if that package went missing (gorgeous bag).  Oh, well ~ that's my rant for the day, lol!

Glad you got your issue resolved!

@SharkE I would train them NOT to knock if I ever caught them near enough.

But honestly, they can't win for losing. A couple of years ago I was literally hanging out waiting for a package until the last minute before I had to leave to catch a bus. Pretty sure I heard a knock, but was involved with something else and didn't get to the door. As I was leaving, I checked my mailbox and had a USPS notice that I wasn't home. Spotted the driver on the next street and retrieved my package...seems someone in another apartment didn't want packages left. Anyway, imagine trying to remember the desires of everyone on the route...

UPS does missdeliver, my normal driver is amazing and great and a decent human being. He must of been off this week, since some one dropped packages by the mail box 1 for me, 1 for my down stars neighbor and one for some one 3 buildings down - my building is 11** and the package was addressed to 12** -- not an easy mistake. T

he sub drivers are lazy and always ina rush. I left th package's downstairs and UPS picked up it, if I was feeling well I would of brought it over.

It would be worth checking where you think it was delivered to.

Recently, one of my Amazon orders was delivered to the wrong address.  Tracking information claimed it was left on my front porch but I knew that wasn't true since I was constantly watching the tracking progress and checked outside immediately when it said "delivered".

Amazon gave me a refund right away.

Well, a few days later a neighbor two doors away brought me the missing package.  Amazon Local had delivered it to the wrong address.

I called Amazon to let them know that the order had turned up and to get the refund reversed.  Reversing the refund was apparently too complicated,  so I got to keep both the the refund and the order.

@MercysMom  Don't sweat it.   If UPS and QVC aren't worried about it and it has been reshipped,  it's not your problem.   I had the same thing happen with the TSV air fryer in November.   Two weeks after FedEx SAID they delivered it,  it finally showed up,  obviously having been delivered to someone else.   QVC sent another in the interim.   Now I can't get rid of the extra.

A few years ago I ordered some slacks. It was near Christmas and honestly I forgot all about ordering them. About a month later I noticed them on my order history. The history said they were delivered. And the tracking information said they were delivered to my next door neighbor. She was a frequent shopper, to say the least, at QVC. I thought next time I see her I will ask her about my order. Sadly, when I did ask her, she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about.

I was not sure how to take her reaction. But after hearing how she cheated and exaggerated nonexistent losses to the insurance company and electric company when a transformer was hit by lightening up the street. She submitted claims for several thousands of dollars. And she was quite proud of herself when she was telling me. I suspect she had no qualms keeping my package because we were the same size.

In early November I ordered a laptop for my disabled brother.  He lives in a very rural area of a small town.  There are only four residences on his 5 mile long road, each home about a mile apart.

I carefully watched the tracking information and knew when the package was to be delivered to him, so I called him when it showed "delivered."  He said it was not on his front porch, but  he said that he had seen the Fed Ex truck go flying past his house.  He figured they took the package to the next neighbor down the road, as he said that had happened before, and the neighbor was nice enough to drive the package  up to my brother's house.

When I called Fed Ex about it, they asked me if my brother could go down to that house (about a mile away) and see if it was left there.  I told them again (for the 2nd time in the conversation) that he was disabled and would have to crawl there!!

I was shocked that they didn't seem too concerned about it!  It was sort of like "oh well"   !!!

So, my brother waited in his wheelchair out on the road until a car came by, and he asked that person to drive him to the neighbor's house to see if his package was there, and it was!  It was sitting on that neighbor's porch, about a mile from my brother's house!

I was glad he was able to locate it, and so was he!
