I checked mine and they have added a whole foods in a neighboring city.  DD had two added to hers both by my house and she lives on the other end of the state.  I assumed it was an amazon thing giving you an option in case you want to have it delivered to a locker rather than your home.

@Wsmom @I just checked and one of these was added to my addresses. It said it could be removed, but when I pressed yes to remove it, it does not remove. I sure hope it was added by Amazon. There's no phone number listed to call anymore and verify it's legitimately Amazon that's adding this.

@sunshine45 @Amazon should add something about this to their site.

Re: PSA: Possible Amazon Address Hack

It’s not an address added to your personal addresses (account settings).

It’s an option on check out for a local pick up location in your area. Yes, it’s something added by Amazon.

@bikerbabe  Every where you go you see AMAZON lockers. I guess the thieves are the ones installing these lockers inside of business places.

@icezeus  said you have 3 days to pick up the items so if I am away I could place an order knowing that I would be back within that time, I would certainly use a locker.

@Mindy D  mine is not included in my list of addresses and as @bikerbabe stated, hers isn't either. That's strange that yours is. I only see it when I go to check out and it's either or. You click on which one you want the item to go to. Amazon has a contract with certain businesses to install lockers so not any and any one can do that. Try this # 888-280-4331. Sometimes it's difficult to get through but keep asking for representative and see what happens. There is also a Chat feature.

@Sage04 @Are you near a Whole Foods and are you a Prime Member? These reasons could be why it's added to mine. You can see my addresses page in the post above this one.

@Mindy D , I went into my account and and then "your addresses".  Is that what you did?  I was able to remove mine.  🤔
