Is it just me? Going back on this thread & reading posts, my #4 looks different in size. Is this standard for phones, IPads, computers, etc.? Varies?

I would change mine to a 2 or 3 but I don't know how.  Smiley Embarassed  For my age, a little larger or bolder is easier for me to read.   Blessings to all!

Re: PRINT SIZE PREFERENCE

[ Edited ]

When you open the screen to type a reply it says "font size" at the top of the box you type in - click there and choose a number - but you have to do it every time.It doesn't stay the same for the next time you reply.

You know you can go into settings on your computer/tablet/phone and increase the size of the print on everything on your device. So if you have vision issues that would be what you should do.

Why would you assume that EVERYONE ELSE should change their print size to accommodate your vision issues instead of YOU increasing it on your device to accommodate your needs?

The answer is simple. If you want everyone to read your posts, you will have to increase the size of the print. Even younger people have eye issues and can't handle the smaller priint. And us older ladies have constant problems with the small letters. So we skip over your posts - not to be mean, but just to avoid frustration. Is it really such a big deal to make your print a bit larger and be more "inclusive"?

@Perkup

i use a laptop and have no problems reading any fonts on this thread. it is very easy for me to use the CTRL+ keys to increase my screen size. i can also pinch my screen on a tablet to make my screen larger. i dont need anyone to increase their font for me to see. you may not read this because i dont change my font.....i only do it for emphasis on occasion.

actually, i do sometimes skip over others post due to huge font sizes. no one should be pressured to increase their font OR read a font that they cannot read, for whatever reason.

Are you not getting this @151949? What you've described only appears to posters who are using a full, AKA "desktop" view.
Many posters don't have, or choose not to use that view for a variety of reasons.
Also, when using the full view, I've had more than one occasion where the font, size, color, and other choices do not show up. It's just an empty box.

Right now posters are trying to compensate for the latest "improvement" from the web design team. Our view varies. The the size of print, relative to everything else on the page, is out of perspective and has been for several days.

That new floating Banner, which may or may not appear on your page, depending on your device, appears to have as few as two icons or as many as 7 icons. We may all be looking at the same page, but our view varies.

I don't think this is something that posters can set a rule for. People post however they like. We have the option of reading what we choose and ignoring what we don't

@Ms tyrion2

Amen, sister!

Why anyone would think it's up to them to make everyone agree on a font size, or how many votes would be needed .... good grief.   I think people can make up their own minds.

(How do people have the time to come up with this silly stuff, anyway?)

I think mine is set to Default

If the font is too big, too bold or someone uses all those wacky colors, I usually skip over it.

When I’m on my phone, I just pinch my screen in and out

@Tinkrbl44  I was asking which size is easier for the majority to read...not establishing a ruling. BTW, your bold print is quite distracting and sometimes I skip over the post.
