PRINCESS GRACE'S GRANDDAUGHTER-IN-LAW

European aristocrats are not one of my interests, but to me, Beatrice Borromeo is a style standout, worthy of Grace Kelly herself.

Love the little blue coat, and the cognac leather accessories.

She's married to Pierre Casiraghi, younger son of Princess Caroline, the older daughter of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier of Monaco.

She's Italian, a former journalist, youthful model, and the daughter of a count.  Although, like her husband, Pierre Casiraghi, she inherited no title.  He, however, is eighth in line to the Monaco throne.

Her lacy wedding dress, pretty.

Charming in warm weather.

Looking so pulled-together in a beautiful coat while awaiting the birth of one of her sons.

She has an affinity for red!   Not everyone likes wide-brimmed hats, but I think this is superb on her.

And a more casual red "street dress", very flattering.  Love the way her little son looks, preppy loafers and all!

Dramatic evening look:

Those striking Art Deco diamond earrings below, look so well with her "simple" (ha) diamond riviere necklace, sigh.

I think one of the things I appreciate about her style is the tribute it pays to more vintage looks, as with the Art Deco.  England's Princess of Wales, Catherine, also has hints of a similar, but slightly less flamboyant,  throwback style.

Wow, red makes an appearance again.  Why not, if you look so good in it??

And, please note, she did NOT match her jewels to her gown, as I was mildly complaining that the British royals do a little too often.  Dreamy emeralds, and the pendant looks to be cut en cabochon, my favorite...

She just seems to have that great Italian flair,  while being so elegant and appropriate for different occasions...

In the last picture, it looks like she has attached a brooch to her diamond necklace.

I genuinely like her style, taste.  Lovely lady and dresses appropriately.

How delightful that the Irish Kelly genes have surged to the forefront in the being of Pierre Casiraghi.  The "Latin" in him has been subdued somewhat.  I had grown used to the children (other than Albert and his children, whom he had with the very fair wife) and grandchildren reflecting their heritage with the dark hair and dark eyes.  Inherited physical traits never fail to intrigue me.

ETA:  Oznell, I believe that among the large number of things we do agree on is sartorial style.  I recall that you once praised Maria Bartiromo's style of dress, and I wholeheartedly agreed with your opinion.

@Oznell   I had a dress like this red one only mine was sleeveless.  Of course  it was not made by an expensive designer.  Back then I had a waistline and some estrogen so it looked good.  LOL

I also like her blue coat and the cognac leather shoes/purse go well.

I like the light colored coat-I am partial to more ivory/off white for me.  As though I would be able to model one.  LOL

All the pics are nice-nothing overdone and both look great together!

Thank you!

The royal wives seem to favor Princess Grace. Her wedding dress is beautiful. It is elegant and modest.

Hey, I think you may very well be right, @Kachina624 !  They all seem to do that--  recycle pieces,  attach brooches to necklaces, pearls or even just a ribbon to make a choker.  It's all very 'cost-effective', ha.

Ha, ha, @scatcat --  you put your finger on it--  "Gene Wilder in 'Willie Wonka'"!!   That's very good!   Agree that Pierre is rather nice looking-- his look has refined quite a bit from the more 'Wilder-kooky' wedding pic--  now he looks more like a serious young Dad, quite attractive.
