Just wanted to say hi and thank you again for all your incredible pictures and interesting information about them, most I have never seen or heard of.

Thinking of you and wishing you and your mom (and dad) well! 

We have a very large black/dark blue butterfly that likes to hang around the pool. Makes me think of you and the butterflies you posted

@threecees  That's a really beautiful photo of a monarch butterfly that landed on your son's hand ! Thank you for sharing that photo .  I love Monarch butterflies- I remember one flew in and got stuck behind a window shade in my room a few years ago, so I lifted the shade and put an index card up to the monarch butterfly and it crawled onto the index card and I put the index card on the ledge of the open window and tha monarch flew away into the sky. They're beautiful creatures!

@Susan Louise  That's a beautiful picture of a Regal Fritillary butterfly that you took - I love how its so nicely framed by the purple glowers that its standing on. Great photo!

@cheriere  Lovely photo, Cheriere! Such a beautiful photo of the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail- I love it's huge patterned yellow wings! Its really enjoying that beutiful pink flower in your garden.  I hope you're enjoying your Fall season! I've made apple cider, gingersnaps, and oatmeal raisin cookies to celebrate the Fall season so far .
