PLEASE, please pray for me!

I hope this does not sound selfish to those of you who believe in the power of prayer, but I do believe in the power of prayer, and I am asking you to please pray for me.

I did end up driving over 2 hrs. to Buffalo for my eye doctor's appointment, and I found out I will be having glaucoma surgery on Monday! I am terrified!!!!!!!

I was sooooooooooo hoping the surgery could be avoided, but all of the eye drops I have been using and am currently using are no longer working, so I must face surgery!

I am terrified of doctors and all medical procedures, and there is no guarantee this surgery will work, but as the doctor told me, at this point, if I do nothing, I will surely go blind in one eye!!! My pressure is very high! Unfortunately I am not a candidate for laser surgery, so the surgery I will be having is a bit more invasive!

Thanks so much to all of you! I am going to try to calm down. I know there are worse things to face than this, but I am still very scared!
