He's contemplating how to get to the other side.  Can he jump that far.  He's not sure, just figuring it out.

If I were that close to a bobcat, by thought would be to skedaddle out of there.

@Pezzie What a beautiful and unforgettable moment that must have been for you! I once enjoyed seeing a majestic mountain lion casually lope across a mountain road in front of my vehicle and never forgot it. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!!

I am always amazed at people taking such great pictures, what type of camera did you use,something just so wonderful about this.

What wonderful scenery you have when you are out for a walk. We have bobcats and coyotes all over our suburban area now...half to take a walking stick....just in case. Thanks for sharing this great photo!
