We've never had any problems with them. They clean those bins out good!
Do they need a liquor license to serve wine?
As long as they are not selling it...I think it is ok to serve it in a private establishment.
Thank you. I did not know that. I'll have to ask why my salon doesn't serve us some spirits. They charge enough to spring for an occasional glass of something.

I got a mild fungus. I went to a fabulous salon. Buyer beware.
Same thing happened to me, win. I have been doing my own pedicures. I don't trust that the basins or the tools are sanitized as they should be.

I have never had a pedi or mani ... and with all I've seen in the news about catching/getting something, I never will.
I will continue to do my own, like always.

I know I have been told by a nail tech that they really cannot clean them good enough. Some are better at trying than others.
Hi Scottie. It doesn't matter if they "try". If they don't take apart all working pieces between each client, they are not clean. I learned the hard way.
winamac1...do tell! Inquiring minds want to know what happened!

I have diabetes. The doctor said never ever ever.

No. I have enough problems without catching something from a salon.

I forgot to say it's not a salon. It's a pedi/mani place only - and the ones doing it are Vietnamese. I think all of them in our town are from Viet Nam. And no, they do not sell wine, just serve it if you want. It's with the deluxe pedicure - which costs $40.00 I think.

That's what I've always heard, too.

The salon where I used to get my hair cut served champagne. I know that there are restaurants in our area that don't have liquor licenses either but you can bring your own bottle of wine and they will open it for you. I am in California. Maybe it differs in other states?
