There's been so much sad celebrity news lately, I thought this was really fun to see and had to post.   Patrick Duffy  ("Dallas") and Linda Purl ( "Matlock") were recently on an Oregon interview show, AM Northwest.

They are both so adorable!

It's so nice that they are a couple.  This is probably old-hat to others, but I hadn't seen them in YEARS.  Of course, he was a welcome fixture on "Dallas" and elsewhere. 

And anyone familiar with retro TV knows Linda Purl, from many guest appearances.  She was notable on the original "Matlock".  She played Andy Griffith's daughter, a cool customer, ( and excellent foil for him), and her intelligence shone.

@Oznell - Thx for the uplifting post! Yes, we need some good celebrity news. I always enjoyed both of them in their various roles.

Certainly a handsome couple. Hope they have many happy years ahead together!!

She was married to Desi Arnaz Jr for about a year in the late 70s.

I remember her best for being married to Desi Arnaz, Jr. although I know she made guest appearances on many shows.

He will always be Bobby Ewing to me.  Looking good!

I also note Linda Gray who played Sue Ellen Ewing turned 86 the other day.

i have been following them for a few years now on social media since they have been a couple. they have a great charity......DUFFYS DOUGH. 

they are such a cute couple.

so happy that they found each other and that love can repeat itself later in life after years of heartache and tragedy.

i had the chance to meet him a few years ago and he was such a kind and interesting and funny man.

From what I can recollect Mama Lucy was happy that Desi married her. She had not been happy about some of his other romances.  Marriage lasted just one year.  I had no idea that Duffy was not with his long time wife, he had a very long term marriage.

Patrick Duffy is a widower.  His wife died in 2017.  He started dating Linda Purl in 2020.

His wife was 10 years his Sr, so happy he found love again, seems like such a nice guy. I do remember when his parents were murdered in Montana, that was terrible
