May I call you that ??

I am "tickled pink" about your mani/pedi !!! Anyone who brings attention to this cause is a beloved friend of mine !!

There was a time I didn't know that I, too, would benefit so greatly from research and funding as I have. Cancer of any kind will quickly humble you. Breast cancer is difficult because it tries to rob you of your feminine qualities. If you are young like me, it hits even harder. Not to say it doesn't hit any woman hard, though. We are all feminine to our very last breath and beyond.

I didn't know before my walk with cancer, that the American Cancer Society gives a wig to whomever wants one, regardless of rather you can pay for it or not.They don't ask, they just provide. You can just accept it graciously or offer to make a donation for it as I did. Amazing considering the number of women affected daily. I'm not talking about junk either. I'm speaking of a very beautiful, expensive, high- quality wig, and they sent me to a wig shop to be fitted, and then they sent me to a local hair salon where a hairdresser volunteers their time in coloring, cutting and styling these wigs for these patients.

It was a very uplifting and humbling experience for a woman who must loose her gorgeous hair.

So thank you for being a "pink" supporter !!!! You never know whom you may influence into action by doing something that seems like so little ! I think "pink" for a month is well worth it, but then I 'm a wee bit prejudiced !!! lol !
