Re: Over or Under?

[ Edited ]

@Tinkrbl44About Charmin clogging pipes.  It can.  I think charmin said it is made stronger, to protect hands and do its job.  All toilet paper is suppose to be strong and then break down quick, and disintegrate to protect sewer systems.  I think it is the law.  However, I think depending on usage and your outgoing pipes that go to sewer back up could be a problem.  Probably more than you ever want to know about paper

Back to. Topic.  Outie!!  If I ever turn it under by mistake, I know it!  My cat takes the paper to kingdom come.  No kiddin.  Plus, it just falls on floor.  I have free standing paper  dispensers.

my huge complaint is tp dust.  It seems to get worse all the time.

I hate to think all the toilet paper dust we inhale!  Lol!  When the light is just right you can see it float thick through the air.  I have cherry vanity cabinets, and a black granite in one bathroom.  I am always dusting .  The dust is thick and noticable.  I used to have painted cabinets in a cream, so I never really noticed the dust.  But I do think the evolution of TP has made it more dusty

@Tinkrbl44

i think it may make a difference if you have a septic tank.

maybe not in all instances though.

The biggest things I remember from the last times we've had a plumber at our house was about 4-ply tp.  I guess some make a 4-ply (I didn't even know that) and that can be problematic.

Also majorly problematic are those premoistened towelette type things.  Even if they say it's ok to flush them - DON'T!     They cause more problem than almost anything.

Hmm .....   I've seen several 3 ply options, but I've never seen 4 ply TP.   Couldn't you just use twice as much 2 ply?   Woman LOL

Maybe the problem is not the brand. High flush toliet are not sold in USA. It is illegal to buy in Canada and cross border with one. I checked when we upgraded.  Governments finest hour.

Now all you intelligent women tell me why I have a need to have 60+ rolls in the house at all times.
