I am really tired of these 2 words.  My news channel uses them all the time.

The female hosts at JTV.......keep saying, "I know, I know".    Can't tell  if they're talking to themselves, the guy in the control booth.....or an "imaginary friend".............

It is "overused."

News channels seem to be given "words for a day"...only they last repetitively for a few weeks and it is grating

currently I'm tired of "trajectory"

 Just watch another channel where the news Hosts  have broader vocabularies  rather than spewing talking points

@Jackhound Mom  While these words may be grammatically correct, I hear them so much that I feel they are overused:

As well, in lieu of saying also or too.

Went or gone missing, instead of saying is missing.

And

Something went terribly wrong, instead of saying something went wrong.

@skatting44   great idea, but it doesn't work.  They all do it....I intentionally watch news channels with differing perspectives.  One channel shows clips of the same word being repeated consistently on another channel...so they are highly aware of this trend also.
