Pretty, but I'm afraid I am bonded to my Jeep.  The love affair has been going on too long.   I know it guzzles gas and that' s fine.  I'm good.  He can carry my grandkids to the ballpark/football fields, climb hills, go camping with them, run through snow storms,  I also don't mind them getting messy in it since it's not fancy.  Which are things I wouldn't dare do in that BMW it's way too nice.  Enjoy your ride.   My life is still in the messy phase lol.  Maybe when I'm too old to do anything with my grandkids, nah even then I figure I will die with my Jeep.

@eadu4  I feel the same about my 1989 Firebird...minus the messy part...LOL

Wow!  Electric cars have come a long way.  I really like the look and details of that model.

Lucky you to have an electric car when gas is getting scarce.  Enjoy your new ride when you finally get behind the wheel.

We had an electric car since 2014.

@songbird  Even if there was an electric Firebird, I wouldn't be in the market for it. I am just like @eadu4  ...

Love my now vintage 1989 Firebird...simplicity...sunroof, old school roll down windows and cassette am/fm radio. I have no desire/need for all the 'fancy' bells and whistles - distractions IMHO.

*Bonus...extremely low insurance rate Smiley Very Happy

Nice!

Enjoy it!

I don't drive enough to warrant buying any kind of new car. In fact, I'm thinking about getting rid of the car I own now and be done with car ownership and all the stuff which comes along with it entirely like insurance, maintenance and a place to put it. Plus I hate driving.

@Mersha I totally agree with you because I read that post yesterday.  Hope those "internet terrorists" don't take down the electric grid like they did with the gas pipeline in the SE part of the country.

I wondered if this post is a way for someone to brag about what they have.

Starting price is 45k just to "rent", which is basically what a lease is.

You know how people say that it's stupid to rent an apartment because you are basically just throwing money away, because the place is never truly yours? That's how I feel about leasing a vehicle. Just throwing money away on something that will never be truly yours. Even if you finance, at some point, the payments will end, and the vehicle will be 100% yours. But I know that everybody here pays for their vehicles in cash, right? *wink*

My former stepdaughter loves her BMWs. She's always owned a new one. She said they are the best cars she had ever driven and she's driven many different makes and models. She's what most people call a car fanatic.
