I find the one near us to be a real junk store, not that a lot of stuff at Dollar Tree isn't junk.
Maybe it's the way they have it set up and it's very dark inside.

I stopped by a local Dollar Store a few weeks ago and the prices were still a dollar. It might have changed since then.

What I did notice, was the Scotties tissues that I buy, changed in size from 148 tissues to 128 tissues..Shrinkflation!

@just bee @We have one.  I bring the kids there.  They love it.  Me, not so much.  I can't wait to get out of there.

Raise their prices, and reduced the quantity in some packaging. I probably won't be going there, it was great while it lasted. Will it ever go down to one dollar again? When I went I bought two Christmas gift bags and they were so pretty and honestly I put the gifts in and the bags tore immediately. I couldn't believe it. I've never had that trouble before.

We went to our Dollar Tree a week ago and the prices were still $1.  Now they might be higher.

We have had a Five Below here for a few years. Went in once. Junk.

There is one that I pass on the freeway when I am heading to Costco. The funny thing was that for years I thought it was some type of sporting goods store. I have obviously never been inside the store. (smile)

I have 10 things I routinely buy at Dollar Tree. I will still buy them for $1.25 since I still need them and can't find them elsewhere.

Back in early December my department was having some sort of homeless drive, lots of different toiletries items were requested. I went to the Dollar Tree to purchase what I would be donating and the prices were still at one dollar.

I know the cost of everything has increased and is increasing, but for some reason, this one really got to me and irritated me!  Couldn't they even leave the lousy Dollar Tree alone!  Sheesh!  It's bad enough you can't even find half the stuff you want any more, you have to make substitutions and the stuff you get is much higher, but now you can't even have one lousy place that really is and has been a bargain!!!  This increase has happened and they will probably just keep going withit....
