Our storm has stopped here around 11 am. It is on the warm side with the

sun shining and around 35 degrees.

We now have a mess to clean up, my son will bring out the snow plow.

The trees will wait until the weekend, on our property anyway.

Here's what his basketball net looks like.

It's a massive snow ball inside the net.

@threecees   It's still snowing here in central, coastal New Jersey, though lighter than before.  We got about 5 or 6 inches.  This picture I took early this morning about 8AM from my front porch.  It doesn't show all the snow we've accumulated since it was taken.  20240213_083527 (1).jpg

Sorry Pa. got socked so badly.  Lines down is never good.

We have had steady snow in New York city since the early morning hours.  It is a wet snow and not sticking that much as the ground hasn't been frozen.  I haven't been out but assume the roads are fine.  It is supposed to stop earlier than expected, which means we will have a modest accumulation.

@threecees Love your pictures!   We are in the thick of it here in RI too.  Not  too windy right now but it's supposed to be picking up quite a bit as the day goes on.  Sorry you lost the power but great that you have a generator.  We always had them in our homes but since we downsized to a condo they are not allowed here.  Hoping we don't lose it!   We are supposed to end up with 8-12 inches and it is a heavy wet snow.  Good luck with your trees.

In CT, we got 12+ inches and it's just starting to slow down. They predicted less.

Missed Maryland.  Just rain and very wet snow.  It snowed a lot, but all in vain.  I see PA got hit though.
