is facing sentencing tomorrow. I heard on tv he could get anything from prision time to a suspended sentence to community service.

My guess (and it's only my guess, of course) is that he'll get community service. From an article I read recently about their prisons, I really don't think the judge will send a man in his physical condition to one of their prisons. JMHO.

What's wrong with his physical condition?

He's a high profile Olympic hero over there. He will get community service and the victim's family will have to sue him for damages. Just like in America, the quality of justice depends on your bank account.

I agree with you, my gut feeling is community service based on exactly what you said.

Trying going a day without legs and see if you don't reconsider this to be a physical condition.

And I doubt they would allow him to use his prosthetics in jail. I'm not an advocate, but it's a reality.

They might be considered as potential weapons maybe.

Have you ever personally dealt with the after effects of an amputation?

Do you not consider that an altered physical condition?
