Orthoheel man and the same model

Everytime the man from Orthoheel sandals demonstrates that arched heel thing he uses "Stacy Ann" every time. It makes me wonder if the shoe actually does what he says. Or can this model turn her ankle a certain way when the shoe isn't on and then line it up correctly when he puts the sandal on her? It would be more believable if he would use a regular host to model the sandal.

I'm guessing she has naturally flat feet.....probably the best type of foot to demo on.

Re: Orthoheel man and the same model

I have never believed his demo's...always felt they were a set up....fake...and yes, we can see how the model stands one way without the sandal and then self corrects herself once the sandal is put on....anyone with eyes can see that phoniness....

This will be poofed because I have posted this before and then its gone...

Re: Orthoheel man and the same model

As a person with plantar fasciitis, I can vouch for the authenticity of the demos. This brand of shoe has given me back my mobility. My podiatrist designed custom fit insoles that don't fit in every shoe I have and certainly can't be used with sandals. Orthoheel shoes came to my rescue. I can now be on my feet for hours whereas before, only a few minutes.

My sister who suffers with over-pronation swears by Orthoheels and Birks.

He chooses this model because her pronation is very noticeable. Shoes will not correct pronation on a permanent basis. They can just correct it temporarily. I don't know why you don't find the demo believable. I could do the same thing with my right foot, which is much worse than the model's.

Re: Orthoheel man and the same model

I actually studied one of his demonstrations very carefully last week. I don't know which model it was. But, I took note that her feet and legs were perfectly straight, until he walked over to her. The camera didn't move, and I saw her turn her foot in. MIRACULOUSLY, when he put the sandal on her foot, her leg became straight.

I don't doubt that these shoes are beneficial. I have several friends who wear them. I don't like this kind of snake-oil salesman sales pitch, however.
