Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

I recently read this book ORPHAN TRAIN and found it very interesting. I passed it on to my daughter who said she couldn't put it down. It is fiction combined with fact. I ordered it on amazon. It was published in 2013 so may not be in your library yet. Very well written. My favorite for 2013...CK

Re: Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

I recently finished it and I couldn't stand it. The writing was horrible. There were so many things that made no sense and the characters had no life to them. They loved in a second or not at all, they were hateful or hate-filled or saintly.

Why I'm posting this is, I looked on Amazon for nonfiction about the orphan trains and everything I saw was a children's book.

Can someone recommend a good adult book about the trains? I had not heard about them before and that was the only reason I was glad to have read it.
