@Mom2Dogs My comment about consultuing his opthalmologist was in response to your post about your husband's concern about the "LEGITIMACY" of vitamins ordered online.  It was presumed that his opthalmologist had recommended the vitamins. I

thought that he might feel reassured if his opthalmologist did not note any red flags.

Sorry, I always presume that people take OTC vitamins on the advice of their doctor. I tend to block out the hordes of people who play doctor and decide on their own to take a glut of vitamin supplements, having little to no idea of whether they are clinically indicated.

@PhilaLady1  I have CVS Home delivery.  If I phone order before noon, the delivery guy will have my order at my door within an hour.

This morning I had a lot of running around to do.  When I returned home, before I got of my car I checked my list/notes to make sure I didn't forget anything & realized I forgot to add CVS.  I called them from my car to have my stuff delivered.  

I walked across the p/l, strutted into the lobby, waited 1 minute for an elavator, went up to the 20 something floor, walked down a long hallway, unlocked my door, took 2 steps in when my intercom buzzed.  It was CVS delivery! 👍🏾

I usually make sure that Amazon is the shipper/seller not a third party.

@Mom2Dogs @when I order my vitamins from Amazon it is usually sponsored by the name brand. For instance if you ordered B&L eyedrops, look at who you are buying it from.  If it isn't from a third party it shoukd be safe. I order from LifeExtension on Amazon.

@Mom2Dogs  I read the information on the bottles, check information via Google, and compare info from other brands on the market. I buy all my vitamins from Amazon and I am happy with them.

Yes, Amazon does sell counterfeit supplements. I have a membership to a independent test site called "Consumer Labs." They have put out a instruction guide and a list of authorized resellers of the brand. If on Amazon, they say to make sure it's "sold by" the actual brand, an authorized reseller of the brand, or Amazon itself, and that it "ships from Amazon." I have been dupped several times with supplements there, finding that the label is very similar to the product I thought I was ordering. Most of the time it is coming from China.

99% of the time if/when buying from Amazon I make sure it is shipped and bought via Amazon. No matter what the product is, I try to not buy from unknown companies. I had bought a pair of jeans that I saw on a facebook ad - which I don't usually do - and when I got the confirmation it was from China. I immediately cancelled the purchase. I regret it. . . I really like those jeans! LOL!!!
