Look at the seller. If it says something like, "Sold and shipped from Amazon," it's legit. If not, look at the reviews for the seller, and read the product reviews, too.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed authentic but purchasing from the brand's store on amazon, provided that there is one, can minimize the chances of buying counterfeit which is usually sold by third-part sellers.

I order supps from Amz and from ebay all the time, no problems, often you are ordering direct from the company.

This reminds me of my very first Q purchase in 1995, I had never even heard of Q before and while channel surfing a lovely gold chain was on the screen, I called the number on the screen and asked the rep, how do I know and trust this is real gold, she replied, we have been in biz 8 years now and what we say it is has to be or we could not still be in biz, I agreed and bought the chain.

DH and I have seen the stories about Amazon vitamins potentially being counterfeit. I have to agree that Amazon wouldn't intentionally risk their reputation. We have our supplements and many other items coming on Amazon subscriptions. When deciding what supplements to buy, I look for statements about third party testing, USA made, that the company's brand store is in the listing. I'll also ask on my search engine if XYZ company is reputable.

I also only buy supps made in USA, never China. Walmart's Spring Valley brand is often made in China.

It might be helpful to your husband to pose his concerns to his opthalmologist.

@Q-Checker ...His doctor is the one that suggested he use the vitamins...this is not a question for the doctor.

That, and also the listing mentions Visit the PresserVision Store under the item name.
