Order “In Process” Ridiculousness

Placed an order on November 2nd for 2 tracfones...order was "in process" until today, November 12th and it was finally shipped today!!!  Delivery date is estimated for November 18th.  So, 16 days from order to delivery...totally unacceptable.  Just venting!

Re: Order “In Process” Ridiculousness

I think there can be several reasons why some items are longer in the processing stage. I think sometimes depending on the price of the item, and if someone has a short buying history, they can take extra time to insure payment can be satisfied before the order goes through.

I wonder of Tracfones ship from the vendor. So they would then get the order from QVC.

I'm also mindful that there are shipping disruptions, the most recent being the grounding of UPS and FedEx aircraft, coupled with control tower issues.

There is nothing that QVC sells that is really an urgent necessity.

Most folks shop here because of product quality and uniqueness that can be purchased at a fair price.

Fast shipping is always available for those who wish to pay extra.

Venting might make YOU feel better, but a long-term shopper like me just shrugs her shoulders.

When I need something right away, I get in my car and drive to a store.

Well, as a matter of fact, the phones are a necessity and not a luxury!  We've purchased our yearly tracfones from QVC for many years without any issues...shrug all you want.

First ... Welcome!  Woman Happy

Second ... @FancyPhillyshopper  is right.

If it comes in a timely manner, celebrate.

If it is needed asap, pay extra for expedited shipping.

Having said that, the last two things I ordered from QVC were received within 5 days of ordering.

Shocked the heck out of me.

Re: Order “In Process” Ridiculousness

Shipping is shipping and one never knows for sure.  Best to just go with it and this holiday season best to order early or go out and about early.  I do that every year and usually no issues.  I use to have to mail gifts out but not longer have that to do and if I did it would be bill to me and ship to them.  It has gotten expensive.

Think of the volume the Q has.  Takes time.

I purchased only one item from the Q this holiday season and in the past all kinds of items.  Times have changed and so have I.  I went back to more local shopping and have always done that but got away from the Q big time.  I got trapped into too many easy pays.   Nice  option but takes a long time for 5 easy pays.

I've had orders state "in process" before and receive them the same day. I think they just are covering bases. Hope you get your order soon.

Is the vendor shipping them? If so, it's always slow.

Sometimes it's best to shop around or go to a local store and get thngs.

I hear you-- I placed an order for a Markstein ring on 11/8, then it went to Contact CS, then In Process, and now Preparing Your Order.  Now stating arriving on 11/18--Ridiculous

Re: Order “In Process” Ridiculousness

Whenever I get a Tracfone from QVC, it ships from Arlington, Texas. According to the Internet (which may or may not be accurate) QVC doesn't have a warehouse/distribution center in Texas. So, they're using someone else to fulfill Tracfone orders. They come in a QVC-branded box, but someone else apparently packages and ships them. Tracfone? Probably. Tracfone is headquartered in Florida, but the phones they sell on eBay come from Grand Prairie, Texas. And Grand Prairie, Texas, is right next door to Arlington, so probably TracFone is doing the packaging and shipping of the phones ordered through QVC.
