I am a pet lover but only have a kitty now. I live in a nine floor apt. bldg. Many people here have dogs. They are to be on a leash at all times when in common areas. My daughter was coming to visit me. There is a water fountain in the lobby by the elevators. While she was waiting for the elevator, the apt. manager walked by and held her dog up to let him drink out of the public water fountain. I just don't think this is appropriate and is quite unsanitary. My daughter and health care aides all agree. All have or have had dogs. What do you all think?
