@Biftu Lynn was nice back in the day and a lot of things have changed. My three daughters are old enough to remember all the nice downtown stores. All that is gone. Where we live is off Lynnfield St., not far from Lynn Woods. This area is still very nice, not being in the heart of the city.
When I went to St. Mary's in the 60's, the tuition was $600. a
year. Now it is many thousands and the high school is co-ed.
Nuns have not been teaching there for many years.

@Enufstuff I get it now why I didn't go to St. Mary's, that was a lot of money in the 60s. I know exactly where you are and yes, that is a nice area. Downtown was nice in the day with all those stores and three movie theaters. And of course being near the beach was nice too.

Well, wait, the only things I have one favorite of are paper towels and toilet paper.
As for bands, I can probably whittle it down to my Top Ten, but that's not the question.
@AnimalMom Good question, but I don't have just one fave.
Me too @Tinkrbl44 !
I love music, too many bands to list though.
Nice thread! ![]()

ITA, nice thread which not only gives us a walk down memory lane here ..... but also gives interesting insights about the posters contributing.

Definitely the Beatles. When I was 14, I saw a Beatles tribute band at Six Flags and they were playing "Come Together" and "Get Back." I was like "I didn't know they played songs like that." I've been an obsessed fan ever since.
