The first step is always the hardest, Brandonlee! But you've taken it. No turning back now. I quit 30 years ago........and the only thing that worked for me was cold turkey. I knew that just cutting down wasn't going to do it for me.......I was addicted.......and the only way to stop......was to just stop.
Good luck! As Nike would say.....Just do it!!!

Tell yourself you can do this. I have never smoked but have known a few friends & family members that did and kicked the habit. I remember some of them chewed the gum haven't know anyone to try the e-cigs. Best of luck

Good for you. I saw an ad on TV for free patches and help line tips.

Kudos to you, you're making progress. Wish I could, I smoke about a pack a day. The only time that I quit was when I was pregnant. I see those Chantex commercials and wonder if it really works. Then I wonder sometimes if it's too late. Not a good feeling. Keep up the good work.

Don't mess with the e-cigs. Waste of money in my opinion. I've quit and started back several times and I know what didn't work for me. I've had friends that chewed on straws for that need of something. Maybe that would work for you .... they graduated down to coffee stirs and then made it.

I wonder too if it's too late.I read one post last night that she or he said that it probably was too late if anyone was smoking and decided to quit.
