I'm trying to figure out how people are viewing QVC when watching their TV sets. If I watch on TV, I can watch on DirecTV satellite on channel 315 and I'm not sure which other channels show Q2 and Q3. The way I watch these days is to go to the website on my iPad and watch the shows on the website. I rarely watch on my TV set anymore.

I think that one reason QVC is not gaining new customers is because of the new ways we watch TV.  Many potential customers don't get the opportunity to stumble on a show and watch. When streaming, people often pre choose what they will watch and I don't think they stumble on shows the way that viewers did with cable. I'm just guessing about this and this is why I'm posting. 

In the past, viewers watching cable or satellite would stumble on the channel and something would catch their eye. The viewer would stay long enough to watch a presentation and then went back to see another one. A lot of women viewers did this when they were home sick, taking care of someone, were disabled themselves, knew someone that watched and tried it out, or were just channel surfing on cable. A lot of men viewers watched when they were in the market for a new computer or their wives had it on when something of interest to them was on. Viewers often found handy things that were not available elsewhere. The quality and prices were good and people came back. I used to leave QVC on one set all day as background. We also had more TVs back then.

I watch on TV, either over-the-air or on Roku. 

But there hasn't been much good to watch lately.  But that's another discussion.

I watch regular Qvc on Comcast channel 471, Q2 channel 391, Q3 channel 507.

@Mindy D - I don't ever sit down to watch qvc anymore. But you asked, if we watched on our tv, what is the provider and it's Comcast. 

Occasionally, I will stop in for a minute or so and watch live on my iPad. My internet provider is AT&T.

I have Comcast for my cable and, on the rare occasions, I watch the Q that's how I watch.  I don't do streaming.

I watch QVC and HSN on my TV through Charter up north and Comcast down south.

I don't have any desire to watch it or any other program or movie on my computer.  I enjoy television viewing on a big screen.

I don't watch QVC, but the channel is available on YouTube TV if I did want to watch it. If I'm interested in viewing an item, I watch the video on my MacBook Pro or my iPad. I can also go to the YouTube app on our smart TVs and pull up any QVC video I desire if I want to watch it on a larger screen.

I got a Roku device a few years back when I cut cable. I go to the QVC/HSN icon on the home screen; it was already on it when I hooked up the device. It has many more shows than I watch. I've found that the different live channels don't always show the information on the product that's on the screen so I usually just watch their regular channel. Also, the prices are sometimes very different since they may have one time only, free shipping, etc. offers.
