It's as if we're watching real time "on the job training" for hosts becoming comfortable with this small screen, vertically oriented device and technique which some may be doing fulltime.

@They CallMe MRWILKES Yes. I was so surprised to see one of the more seasoned hosts fumble around reading simple text messages on air. Apologizing if it doesn't go right. My goodness, she was handed the phone from the crew and all she had to do was read the texts.
I would think it's even easier that listening to the producer in their ear, interrupt the presentations with a caller waiting on the phone and having to find the right time to stop and take the call.
