Didn't want to call attention re: "religion" but a little earlier on CNN, I heard a report that the Pope has a brain tumor.  I just googled it and the Vatican is denying it.  

Has anyone else heard on other channels?

No I haven't read or seen anything about this. If it's true, it may be benign.

I read online that it is an unsubstantiated rumor.

Maybe that's why he was asking people to pray for him?  HOPE he's fine and it's just a rumor.

He began his "tradition" of asking everyone to

pray for him on his first day and first comments as

pope so he didn't just recently start that request.

I hope he's ok, I admire him.

We have so many incredible doctors here, Stanford Hospital and UCSF, among others, are always making incredible advancements.

If it's true, I hope some of our best will travel to see him.

Until the Vatican releases an official announcement, I am not going to believe unsubstantiated rumors.
