I hope the Pope is fine.  However, I vaguely remember him saying he would only be around for three years or so.  Thought that was strange then and am hoping I'm recalling it incorrectly or with reference to something else.

The world needs this Pope and his messages now more than ever.

Well, THAT would explain why he supposedly met with that Kentucky county clerk who shall remain nameless!

He never met with her. That whole story was untrue.

I thought that the Vatican confirmed that story?

I thought they showed pictures of the husband and wife standing with the Pope?

If I am mistaken, then I apologize for my error.

our local news said that he had a brain tumor and had a meeting with a japanese doctor.  it may have been to see if it needed to be operated on.  that part i don't remember clearly.

Just as I had thought. It was nothing more than just an unsubstantiated rumor.

Maybe that's why he was asking people to pray for him?  HOPE he's fine and it's just a rumor.

Or maybe it's because he's the leader of a major religion that revolves around prayer? He's got a tough job, is under a lot of criticism, and believes in prayer. I wouldn't read anything into a religious leader asking for people to pray for him.
