He knows your address?  Aren't you concerned?

I agree! Do you know his address? If he is in another state I think it could become a federal offense! Either way, first, stay off the site. Next, talk to your local police department. I think you can get a restraining order. Get legal advice, at least! Also, save every piece of evidence you have! Good luck!

I would never participate in a chat room using my real name either.

The fact is that anyone with good computer skills can find out just about anything they want to about anyone! Passwords should be changed often, and you should avoid giving any identifying info, like birthdays, etc! It's so hard not to do, but when a cook like this gets on to you, it can be hell!

There is a way on fb to block friends of your friends from seeing you, your posts and photos.

A poster responded with a cryptic post to the OP.  I responded.  The poster's comment was removed so my response was left hanging and didn't make sense so I deleted it.

I'd like to know how to do this.  I have my privacy setting so only friends see my stuff.  But I thought that if a friend of mine responsed or liked something I posted, his/her friends could then see my stuff.  Maybe I'm wrong.

You know the solution, it's up to you to decide if you will take it

No in this case it does, I do not care to go into the dynamics, this person is a known harasser and has picks me as his target, end of story, he is not an old boyfriend or even g-d forbid a current one

Comments like this can/do/probably started this in the first place.

I don't know much of anything about FB, but from what I hear, whatever you post to your friends.........Once they have it, they could spread it around to THEIR so-called 'friends', who could actually be strangers to them.  btw, if I were to join (or whatever they call it), I'd make up a name.   But, I guess some 'smart' techies could trace it anyway, no matter what.
