It looked like another reality train-wreck with a controlling father who is or was in bankruptcy -- not sure how they continue to live high on the hog.

The UK has even worse shows than the US including realty shows. We just happen to get their best shows here. They show plenty of junk over there including our junk such as the Real Housewives.

I watched it with my daughter, we laughed, we liked it even tho it was a little bit out there.

The father is funny, witty, eccentric and yes controlling, and yes, he runs a very tight ship BUT he seems like he is raising the kids pretty good thus far, he's trying to raise them to be good, productive adults. he always knows where the kids are and what they are doing and whom they are doing it with which is not getting into trouble (well as of yet) and I for one like that!!! Some of his parenting tactics may be questionable for some and yet not questionable at all to others, to each their own.

I'll be watching, for now anyway.

My gaydar went up when I saw the show, too. What an odd brood... and how the heck does he rate to get his own show? I may keep watching it because it intrigues me - it reminds me of that old movie called The Stepford Wives. Everyone is just too good looking, too happy, teeth too white and straight... you get what I mean!
