@rms1954 We just received our Omaha package last week and so far have tried the steaks and hamburgers. I can honestly say I am not a fan. My husband was also disappointed and he is much easier to please than I am.

Definitely will not reorder and I was going to send one as a gift to my brother....not now.

@Pyrite2616 I never wake up on the wrong side of the bed, but thank you for your concern. I do, however, like to point things out to people occasionally, which is what I did here.

@Citrine1 I appreciated it. So did others judging by the hearts you got. The comment was really pointless and provided no info that I was looking for.

I have bought both Kansas City and Omaha steaks. I much prefer Omaha steaks. I only buy the filet mignon and the bistro steaks which are a small tender and flavorful cut of steak. Both are delicious. No fat or gristle.

I think Omaha steaks are better. Tried Kansas City a few times--were over seasoned and full of gristle--tried their prime rib once years ago, and it had a huge streak of gristle that ran thru about 1/3 of the roast--couldn't even carve it out and get a decent looking piece of meat to serve--ended up cutting it into bite sized pieces for a soup--but got my $$ and they sent another roast too. Wasn't much better. Rastellis isn't much great--tried their filet 2 oz pieces--same thing--most were so small an/or full of gristle--dumped them and got my $$ too. Omaha was pretty decent. Got a package with asorted of beef, hot dogs, chicken, apple things and the scalloped spuds----
