We have a Llasa Apso and he will be eight this year. A couple weeks ago he was sitting with my daughter on the couch and she went to pet him and he snapped at her. She got upset and was crying. She said he bit her but there were no teeth marks and he didn't draw blood. I just passed it off as her just being startled. But tonight he was laying next to me on the couch sleeping and I reached over to pet him and he went after my finger. He didn't bite down and never left a scratch. I'm just really concerned that this will get worse. What if he does bite me or another family member? What do we do then? I'm thinking he's just getting grumpy in his old age and we need to be more cautious around him and maybe leave him alone when he's sleeping. Any experience with this kind of behavior?
