Oklahoma pharmicist guilty and sentenced

Recently i wrote that while you do have a constitutional right to carry a gun you DO NOT have the right to shoot anyone. I recieved many replies that I was incorrect and that you can shoot to defend your self and your property. Today an Oklahoma pharmacist was sentenced to life in prison for shooting a man who was attempting to rob his phasrmacy. While I do agree that this is a sad situation it clearly is an example of what I originally said.
